What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound coupled with intention, using various musical instruments, tuning forks, vibroacoustics, and vocal toning. Resonant principles are applied to help re-harmonize the mental, emotional and physical body on a cellular level. When a balanced or tuned frequency is used, it can assist the individual to come into a state of homeostasis. As recognized by the scientific research of Dr. Emoto, intention (thought energy) changes the molecular structure of water. The human body is estimated to be at least 70% water. When sound energy and thought energy are applied in an intentional way the cells in the body will resonate, releasing toxins, removing energetic blockages, restoring proper rotation to the chakras, strengthening the auric field, and improves sleep. Additional benefits include, calming the nervous system, slows down respiration, brain and heart rate and can disrupt the pain reflex creating a deep sense of relaxation and wellness.

Many ancient civilizations and indigenous cultures have used sound to heal and access higher states of consciousness, as in deep meditation, for thousands of years.

What is Vibroacoustic Therapy?

Vibroacoustic therapy is a special sound technology that induces deep relaxation in the body, helping the client to regain balance and health on a cellular level. Specialized speakers called "tactile transducers" alows you to feel the sound as well as hear it while lying on the vibro-acoustic table. These special speakers are imbedded into the massage table to transmit specific sound or frequencies directly into the body affecting the resonant quality of the cells. This creates a deep state of relaxation and balance. Stereo headphones can be added with the use of brainwave frequencies to carry an individual into a relaxed state of consciousness.
